Conducting training exercises and drills is vital to preparing for a response to an actual crisis. DisasterLAN's Exercise Simulation Module was designed to allow for the creation of data injection scripts for use in conducting real-world training exercises. Call Center and Status Board entries can be pre-configured for injection into DisasterLAN at set time intervals during a training scenario. Users can interact with injected data to test their response to incident events. By pre-configuring scripts, complex exercise scenarios can be run without the need for any real-time data entry by exercise controllers. VCR-like controls allow for the pausing or fast forwarding of an exercise, thereby controlling data injection.
DisasterLAN's Exercise Simulation Module allows for the creation and execution of injection scripts to conduct drills and test the response capabilities of the emergency management team.
