BCG has completed prototype design of a Student Steering Console as a peripheral to our line of radar simulation products. The table top or upright console provides the student mariner with a ‘hands-on' steering control of their Ownship in the simulated exercise. The user is offered a wheel for rudder control, and either a single or dual throttle for speed control. Ownship sensor information is provided to the user via a built-in status display. BCG plans delivery of our first four units in January 2006. Contact BCG for more information.

Buffalo Computer Graphics' maritime simulation staff has extensive experience in the design and development of marine radar and communication simulators. Many of our staff members have been dedicated to the development of our simulation products for over twenty-five years.
Our line of radar simulators is IMO / STCW compliant and can be adapted to meet HLA or DIS requirements. All models are capable of generating the target, landmass and radar effects video required to create realistic radar images from computer generated data. As a result, training exercises carried out using a BCG simulator appear real to observers monitoring the radar displays.
