WATCH COMMAND MODULE

The Watch Command Module provides duty officers and warning point personnel with tools to benefit 24/7 monitoring and response.  Consisting of a dashboard with unique views into Call Center, Communication Center, and Incident Management; the Watch Command tools allow duty officers to monitor events in preparation for full Emergency Operation Center (EOC) activations should the need arise.  The dashboard tools are specifically tailored for monitoring any number of external feeds allowing duty officers the ability to watch multiple email addresses, web feeds, and other systems from one screen.  Should the user see anything out of the ordinary, it is a one button press to take that information and "post" or copy it into a new call including all attachments, GIS coordinates, and other pertinent information.  Additionally, the tool set provides unique tools to allow users to take information on DLAN and forward it out to multiple sources including email distribution groups, IPAWS enable interoperable systems, and mass notification systems (for users of BCG's iAlertz notification system).
