Orchard Park, NY - The Erie County Deparment of Health deployed the DisasterLAN Immunization Module at a Simulated Virus Outbreak. The mobile solution was powered by generators and employed wireless networking, barcode scanning, and barcode printing at a site in Orchard Park. Electronic and Paper Immunization Information was gathered on patients being vaccinated for Tuberculosis as well as for a simulation "Virus-X" vaccination. In addition to managing simulated virus outbreak, the system successfully shared information remotely with the Emergency Operations Center that operates on the DisasterLAN Incident Management System.
