Albany, NY - Buffalo Computer Graphics Inc. has been awarded a joint contract with the New York State Emergency Management Office and Entergy Corportation to develop a Joint Information Center for Public Notifications and Press Releases. The project will build a site that allows emergency managers from different townships to work together with state emergency personnel and Entergy Corporation to build public statements and alerts specific to the Indian Point Nuclear Plant. THe site will allow them to build press releases, Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) alerts, and other types of notifications necessary in communicating appropriate emergency response in the event that an incident occurs at Indian Point.
