Customer Support Intern - Incident Management Division

Buffalo Computer Graphics, Inc. (BCG) is looking for a Customer Support Intern to join our highly effective customer support team in our Incident Management Division. We are currently hiring for our Guilderland, NY office.

Candidates are expected to work side-by-side with customer support, development, and testing teams in an agile development environment. Support activities include responses to customer questions, issue tracking, troubleshooting customer problems, and software testing.

Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills as interaction with team members and documentation are essential functions of this job. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn on the fly.

Expected Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with customer support team to answer, track, and manage customer support requests
  • Perform maintenance tasks for cloud hosted environments
  • Document findings in our knowledge base and bug-tracking management systems.
  • Work with customers to quantify, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues
  • Work with staff and customers to gain and understand real world applications of the software.
  • Work with testers and developers to assist in creating, documenting, and testing customer use cases.
  • Work with testers and developers to assist in performing regression, exploratory, localization, security and compatibility testing.
  • Support Sales and Project Management Staff as needed.


  • Current college student working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related major.
  • Working Knowledge of most Windows, Apple, Android devices and operating systems.
  • A willingness to learn, master, and work in multiple roles
  • A self-motivated learner who can master complex software and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • A natural attention to detail and a penchant for organizing and documenting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with programming is beneficial. 

Compensation will be based upon education and experience.

Start Date: January 2022
