DLAN Adds Multi-Factor Authentication

DLAN Adds Multi-Factor Authentication Image

BCG recently added multi-factor authentication (MFA) to DLAN to improve system security. DLAN’s MFA requires that, in addition to a username and password, a code sent to the user’s smartphone must be entered to access the system. This means that even if a user’s password is compromised, it cannot be used to access the system. Designed to utilize authentication apps such as Google Authenticator, the system leverages user’s own mobile devices instead of RSA dongles, allowing organizations to save costs and lower the risk of users’ misplacing their MFA devices.
